The Big Move?

I've shared with everyone that I've been feeling a bit pressured. i have a few things to sort out and time is not on my side. I just found out that I was selected for an interview in Atlanta, Ga for this AmeriCorps position. I believe the position is highly competitive but it seems like something that would suit me.

I'm all for relocating to another city but I will admit, I'm very nervous. I'm nervous about leaving the familiar and the people that I love. If i'm selected I'd leave my friends and the man that I've known and loved for nearly six years.

Change is essential to growth. Challenging yourself and being confortable in uncomfortable situations is my personal definition of growth.

I'm so excited about my interview and yet so nervous. I'm growing up and it's terrifying to think about. Please pray that everything goes well.

Time

Feeling pressured. Received an email from my supervisor stating that he needed confirmation about if I was going to stay another year with VISTA. Honestly, I wouldn't mind doing it, I just desire higher pay. I have 30 days to find and move into a new place to stay. Time is tight for some decisions that have to be made and I don't know my next move.

However, I can say that I am truly blessed. Decisions have to be made about jobs and housing but at least I have an opportunity to decide about jobs and housing. I sometimes vent but I know things could be worse.

I have a few days and I'll continue to be aggressive about my search. Until next time...
